Is your Taxpayer a Limited Partner? Passive/active/material is different from QBI.
What does your paid professional say?
Do you mean expenditures for the benefit of the disabled person, such as rent or food?  Or expenses of admin such as Trustee fee?
What kind of return are you doing?  Your taxpayer received a K-1?  what kind?  S/P/T?

if it was distributed on 2018 1099-R, and rolled promptly, it should show now on 5498.
right, but none of US believe it was really rolled over.
The answer IS HELPFUL from @sjrcpa but that answer from Intuit is NOT helpful.  It shows lack of respect for the customers who merely want reasonable customer service.

If it comes back, there might be an input linked to Sched C:  maybe a 1099 input was linked to C, so if you delete C it might pop up again.

I go back to: "Whose $$ is it?"  If they truly own it equally, report income equally.  But I do not see how you can shift income to whomever wants it each year.
