we are having trouble getting our proconnect account to work due to this error:

“E-File Transmission Failure: An unexpected error occurred while processing the return or creating the e-file payload data. Problem occured getting ef payload data. Problem occurred transmitting efile data.”

We’ve already tried all the basic fixes like fixing the attachments, and it still won’t work. Appreciate any help on this please.

These instructions werenot helpful in anyway. What the heck is a payload and how do I fix it or is it an error are your end.  I HAVE   FORMS TO EFILE AND I CANT GET IT DONE.

I just had this issue and hopefully my experience can help someone in the future.

I tried the pdf adjustments but it didn't work. My issue was resolved once I removed the New York UBT form from the Profile since the client's business income did not reach the taxable threshold. So a potential solution is finding and removing unused forms.
