Go to client analyzer query home base, and there is a query for itemized deductions.

Is there a way to get a list of clients that itemized on the 2017 tax return along with the itemized amount?

You can print a list of clients who itemized under client querries, 1040 individual, itemizes. But then you have to go in and look up each to see amount of itemized.

You can add a column to your homebase view, go to homebase menu, column headings to see if you can locate one specific to that, then sort by that column. You can also export your homebase view to excel depending on what you're trying to do with that list of customers. Hope that helps

High level- you have different views in homebase (ie 1040, 1120, 1120s), one of the views is a query view, you can select different queries and will show a homebase view of just the files that you are searching, you may try to see if there is one that you can use based off of data in that schedule a. No promises but something that may be worth a shot. (side note, i know Itemized Deduction is one of the options, not sure what else may apply)

Start opening returns bsota. We did the same thing at the end of last year to find out how much they itemized by and the amount of tax paid included in that itemized deduction. There is no way in Proseries do automatically find that. At least you do know which ones itemized.
