It has always been top secret, but it should check in somewhere north of $6,000 - how far north evidently depends on your compass.

I think it depends on who you ask.

Any help on this one? If Paul did get a legit answer from customer service, I am curious what factors weigh into the different price structures for Power Tax. Maybe I can call in and answer questions differently if I can get the software $1.99 cheaper ................................I just need to know the right answers

I too inquired about moving from ProSerites Professional to Power Tax Library. I called in and was quoted $8,207 (fast path, Network version and Power Tax Library).
I called back as a "New Customer" and was quoted $5,492.82.....I've been with ProSeries for over 20 years and they treat new customers better than a 20+ year customer.
Not acceptable...i'd love to hear a reply!

Their reply is, they give new customers a break because of the learning curve involved in a new software.

When you are out shopping, be aware that some of the competitors also provide the same pricing philosophy. So if you get a price you are happy with, make sure and ask them how long the price is going to stay at that level.

@IRonMaN @gregg yeah you have to be careful... Some companies will bait you with an apple and then before you know it you're chewing on a lemon... I remember years ago a bank had a decent offer on a money market account so I transferred money over into it but that only lasted for a short period of time and then I got stuck with a rate close to the Goose Egg🦢🦆🥚 ...yeah I know I should have read the fine print...
