2025.2.04 update status???

Just wondering if anyone has done this update yet today (01/13/26)?  I think I might update this time to this one.

Hello, 

We have identified a calculation error on Form W-2, Box 4 (Social Security tax withheld). The system was incorrectly calculating this amount based on Box 1 (Wages, tips, other compensation) instead of Box 3 (Social Security wages).

Resolution: A software update (Version 2025.2.04) will be released tomorrow, January 13, to resolve this issue.

Required Actions:

• If you have already filed: Please review your W-2s for accuracy. If discrepancies are found, you may need to file a corrected W-2 (Form W-2c).The W-2c form will need to be created in Information Return System 2025
• If you have NOT yet filed: Please install the update tomorrow and verify the calculations before submitting your forms.

I have not.  But we didn't have any issues with our W-2s printing from Easy ACCT.  Was this message from the moderator about Easy ACCT or Info Return System?

Will this update fix the EasyACCT crash issue when transfering w-2's to Info Return System?

Yes, they posted on here yesterday, but made is so that no one can comment on it.

I wasn't sure if anyone has done it yet, cause I'm still rocking 2025.2.01 version.  A bit scared to do any of the updates with all the issues everyone is having.

The 2025.2.04 update doesn't seem to be available yet.  I'm on 2025.2.03 on both EasyACCT and IRS.  It was cowardly and just downright BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE for them to close the comments on admin_AI post!  They didn't even indicate if the update will be in EasyACCT or IRS. Does anyone know?

I called Intuit.  There is NO update today 1-13-25.  They have determined that the W-2 issue they THOUGHT they were having is NOT an issue.  Would have been nice to have an email regarding this.  Also, the next update won't be until Thursday.  This is such a sh** show.  Unbelievable the problems they are having.

Well then I think I'm going to wait till Friday afternoon to do my updates.

Fingers crossed, positive vibes, the whole lot to make sure that this goes OK and I get all my clients done and processed in time.

I haven't seen any new updates since 3 came out on Monday, Jan. 12th.  Still haven't closed 2025 and started in the new version since the A/R GL problems still are not fixed!

I did finally receive 4 emails saying that the 15th is the day for the update.  What is it with TAX and the 15th?  UGH!!!!

Translation:  We have no idea what we are doing and are just throwing out another update hoping something sticks.  We are also hoping our customers will find the bugs and let us know so we can continue to release updates that may or may not fix what is wrong.

It is finally working now...not crashing when transferring to Info Return System was our main issue
