Yes everyone is having this problem
I do have that problem too. However, I saw this online, so I don't know whether it is EasyAcct's fault or IRS's fault
Hi @DBHCO Welcome to the Community and thanks for posting about 940s being rejected. We would recommend updating and trying to submit the 940s again. We have had confirmation on other posts that e-filing 940s have been successful.
Hi @bduteau Please update and try submitting the 940s again. We have had reports that e-filing is working.
Hi @anonymous2026 Nice to see you in the Communty and thanks for posting. We recommend updating th the latest version of EasyACCT and e-file the 940s one more time.
I'm sorry but those confirmations are because they added the banking information.
I did not add any banking information in and they still work. You just have to resubmit it.
Kathy can you tell me if it is forcing you to put the bank information in even if you choose to apply to the next return? I am still waiting on Right works to run the update for hosting but it would be nice to know if I am going to be forced to enter the banking info for all of my clients so I can get a start on that while I wait for the update.
Hi @bduteau Thanks reaching out about if you will be forced to input banking information if you choose to apply to next year. We checked on this and were told that the banking information would be needed if it is set to send a refund.
