Need to be able to identify ALL clients with an ID PIN

Starting in January, the IRS is going national with an Opt In  ID PIN.

Anyone will be able to get one.  It will become CRITICAL that we can generate a list (using client analyzer) of all clients that filed last year using an ID PIN.

Out of curiosity, why is it critical to generate a list of clients that filed last year with the PIN?

So, you can track who is using and not using.  This avoids e-file rejections.

In addition, if a taxpayer used an IP PIN last year, the software should have a "flag" that shows an error if there is no IP PIN this year.  There could be a check box that overrides this condition.

Maybe it will be included as an option in the homebase columns list.

I wanted to follow up on this and say I am needing this more urgently each year.

I have figured out a work around.  In The IP PIN field select the pencil and attach a note (“has PIN”) this note on this field carries over the following year and shows a red exclamation mark.  Works great.
