ProSeries Updates hangs on a workstation

This article will help when:
- When attempting to update a workstation, the Update window appears to hang or stop on Checking for New Product Updates or Updating Forms Availability.
- When reviewing the Internet Client Log, it show an Internet Client Error: The directory name is invalid.
This situation may occur due to Windows' handling of User Account Controls (UAC) when operating in a network environment.
- To resolve this issue, download, and run the ProSeries Professional Network Utility for Mapped Drives.
