Using Quick Entry Mode in ProSeries Professional

This article will assist you with changing from Quick Entry Mode to Form Mode when inside a Intuit ProSeries Professional client file.
To change from Quick Entry Mode to Form mode:
- Open the client return.
- From the File menu, select Go to Form Mode.
To change from Form Mode to Quick Entry Mode:
- Open the client return.
- From the File menu, select Go to Quick Entry Mode.
If you're in Quick Entry Mode every time you open a new or existing client, you can change this by doing the following:
- From the Tools menu, select Options.
- Click General on the left side of the window.
- Remove the check from the box labeled Start new clients in Quick Entry Mode.
- Remove the check from the box labeled Start existing clients in Quick Entry Mode.
- Click OK.
You can use Ctrl + M to toggle between Quick Entry Mode and Form Mode. Quick Entry Mode is supported in the Individual, Partnership, Corporate, and S-Corporate formsets in ProSeries. Quick Entry Mode isn't available in the ProSeries Basic.
