Downloading EasyACCT and Information Return System from My Account

Starting in 2025 there are new login requirements for each EasyACCT system — Professional, Business, and Information Return — aim to increase security by ensuring that every individual user is authenticated before accessing data.

If you own a firm, manage your own office, or are the sole EasyACCT user in your office, you must:

1. Complete initial setup
2. Invite additional software users (if applicable)
   • If you're purchasing this software for your client, they'll need an Intuit account to access it.
   • You can then invite them as a user from the 'Manage Users' section of your account, or your client can purchase the product individually and create their own Intuit account here

Follow these steps to download programs:

1. Sign in to MyAccount to access orders and links for downloading the program.
   • If you don't have an account, select Create an Intuit Account.
2. Once signed in, the Dashboard will show products you've purchased.
3. Select the year of the product you need in the drop down menu.
4. Select Download Product to download prior year programs.
5. If the download link doesn't appear for the product:
   1. Use your browser options to clear your cache.
   2. Close the browser and try again.
   3. If applicable, update the browser you're currently using to access Intuit MyAccount.
6. Once you've downloaded the file, select Run to start product installation.

Troubleshooting Download Errors

When downloading Intuit files, you may encounter errors saying the file is not verified or may not be secured. If this happens, you can do the following:

1. Select the Downloads arrow on the top toolbar (on Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome) — you can also choose the 3 dots on your top toolbar and then select downloads
   • Select or highlight the downloaded file name and select the 3 dots next to it
   • Select Keep
   • Select Keep Anyway
2. The file will then download. After it finishes, Select Open File
3. Another screen will pop up from Microsoft.
   • Select More Info
   • Select Run Anyway
4. The installation file will now be prompted to download. After it finishes, you can select Open File and then follow the prompts to complete the software installation.

Additional Information:

• EasyACCT Professional users must download and install the Information Return System separately.
