How to edit/customize roles in ProConnect Tax

  1. Select Settings in the upper-right corner.
  2. From that menu, select Manage and Invite Users under YOUR FIRM.
  3. Select the Roles tab.
  4. Select Edit under the Action column for the Role Name to edit.
    • Important : Advanced tax access, Advanced tax and books, Advanced tax and books admin, and Company admin cannot be edited.
  5. Expand the permission to be updated.
    • Not all permissions can be changed, expand the desired permission to see the options.
  6. Select Save Role when you're done.
