
How to change a client's status (active or inactive) in ProConnect Tax

While ProConnect Tax does not have a delete option, you can make a client inactive to prevent it from showing up in your client list, or make an inactive client active again.
To do so, follow these steps:
To make a client inactive:
- Select the client you want to remove.
- Select the down arrow by the Edit Client button on the top right corner of the screen.
- Select the option to Make inactive.
- You'll get a pop up message asking if you're sure you want to do this. Select Yes only if you're absolutely sure you've selected the correct client.
- You'll see a small banner pop up at the top of the screen letting you know that this client is now inactive.
To make a client active:
- Within the Clients tab, select View inactive clients.
- Select the client you want to make active.
- On the top right corner, select Make active.
Your client will now be active again, and will show up in your clients tab.
