Transferring EasyACCT Data Between the EasyACCT Business System and Professional Series

EasyACCT Client Transfer
You can use the EasyACCT Client Data Transfer to transfer data between:
- EasyACCT Business System (EBS) & EasyACCT Professional Series (EPS)
- EasyACCT Professional Series & EasyACCT Business System
- EasyACCT Professional Series & EasyACCT Professional Series
- EasyACCT Business System & EasyACCT Business System
In order to transfer between EasyACCT programs, note the following:
- Both programs must be on the same version (i.e. 2022).
- The company must have the same three-digit company ID in EPS and EBS.
- The General Ledger, Payroll, Vendors and Depreciation year-ending dates must be the same.
TRANSFER (EXPORT) DATA TO :
- In the EBS program, make a Back Up of the company data before transferring.
- Open the company and select EasyACCT Utilities then choose EasyACCT Client Transfer.
- Select the option to Transfer To EasyACCT Professional Series.
- Select a Data Path for the Transfer File, this is the location where the transfer file will be stored.
- Click Continue.
- Check the boxes for each item to transfer.
- Click Begin Transfer.
- At the prompt, Ready to begin transfer. Proceed? Answer Yes.
NOTE: EasyACCT creates the file but does not send it. Send the file as an email attachment or transfer using a flash drive or another device.
TRANSFER (IMPORT) DATA FROM :
- Once the transfer files are received (EZTCDxxx.CMP, TCDATA.xxx), save the files to a specified folder.
- Open the company and select EasyACCT Utilities then choose EasyACCT Client Transfer.
- Select the Data Path for the Transfer Files from the location from step 1 where the transfer files were saved.
- Select the option to Transfer From EasyACCT Business System.
- Click Continue.
- At the prompt, Do you want to review the selections before transferring? Answer Yes.
- Verify the selections and make changes if needed.
- Select Begin Transfer. Proceed? Answer Yes.
- Print the Payroll Journal and General Ledger for each month selected in the transfer.
- Go into each module's Data File Utilities and run the Data File Index Repair.
