Instructions to install VC++ Redistributables

Updating the Visual C++ redistributable package (also known as VC++ redist) to the latest version is important to ensure that your system has the necessary components to run ProSeries. In this article, we will guide you through the process of updating your VC++ redist to the latest version.
Steps to update the Visual C++ redistributable package to the latest version via ProSeries Installer
Latest version of ProSeries installer installs the required prerequisites before installing ProSeries.
- Sign to My Account and click Download to get the latest version of ProSeries installer.
- When asked, Do you want to run or save this file? select Save.
- Select Save again to finish saving the file.
- Press CTRL + J on your keyboard to open your Downloads.
- Run the downloaded file.
- If installing ProSeries Professional it'll be CoreInstallerTY24.exe.
- If installing ProSeries Basic, it'll be BasicInstallerTY24.exe.
- The install wizard will start.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to walk you through the setup. This will do a prerequisite check and install/update the required version of the VC++ before it shows you the Product selection page

Step 1: Download the latest version of VC++ redist
To download the latest version of VC++ redist, follow these steps:
- Click the below links to download VC++ redistributables (both x86 and x64)

Step 2: Install the latest version of VC++ redist
To install the latest version of VC++ redist, follow these steps:
- Double-click on the downloaded files one by one to start the installation process.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
- Restart your computer to ensure that the changes take effect.
