Resolving the FAM error (DB/-200) Unable to Access File X:\FamWinYY\XXXX is Not A Data File

This article will help you if your receiving the error message: (DB/-200) Unable to access file [X:\FamWinYY\XXXXX] is not a data file when opening a client in ProSeries Fixed Asset manager.
When this error message occurs it means the data file is badly damaged and Fixed Asset Manager can no longer open the client. This client will need to be restored from a backup or transferred again from a prior year.
To help prevent this, there can be a couple of things that would have caused this error message. Correcting these configuration issues will help to prevent this from occurring in the future.

- Review the local user rights and permissions and folder access rights.
