Problem Description
The following error is received closing the payroll module: "Unprinted checks detected, please print checks before closing the year."
Solution Description
This message occurs during the year-end closing procedure when there are calculated checks in Batch Payroll that have not been printed.
- Go to Batch Payroll, Process Payroll and select Review Computed Checks.
- Either select to Print or Delete the checks listed on the screen.
- Go to Data File Utilities and select Year-End P/R Procedure.
- Answer Yes to "Do you want to close the payroll year at this time?"
