Using custom strategies in Intuit Tax Advisor

Create custom strategies that you can save and use on any plan. To get started:

  1. Give the strategy a meaningful name and description.
  2. Add client action items that you want included in their report.

  3. Select the form or schedule and field this strategy will impact.
  4. Choose whether the strategy change will increase or decrease the field you selected.

  5. Select the tax rates that will apply to the strategy change.
  6. Choose whether or not to use a net out-of-pocket formula for this strategy.
