Why can't we key an EFT payment to be paid after April 15? the due date is extended

If people want to get filed and want to pay in June or July

why won't the program allow a date to be keyed for the payment to

be taken from the bank account anytime after April 15,2020?

You didnt include which software youre using, in ProSeries if you click the little Alert icon on the toolbar, you'll find information about setting a date later than April 15th for direct debit.

I use Lacerte, but can't put in a later date than 4/15 for payment on taxes due.  Has then feature been updated?  If not, when can we expect it?

I use Proseries Professional & the yellow icon show3s no errors to proceed but the you must fix error

says the debit date must be after the end of the tax year, 12/31/2019 and between today 3/30/2020 and the deadline of 4/15/2020
