Where's My Refund messages

'Where's My Refund' sometimes has no progress bar and says "Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available..." and sometimes it does have the progress bar, with the "return received" in orange and "We have received your tax return and is is being processed.."  Is there a difference in what they mean?

That progress bar usually shows up only two or three weeks before the check is issued. So, lack of a progress bar means don't expect anything soon.
