Hi,
For New York taxpayers, should STAR received for real estate taxes specifically be reported on a certain form? Or is it already credited to the real estate tax the taxpayer has already paid and thus no further action needs to be taken for tax purposes?

If taxpayer doesn't file Sch A no reporting for the federal return, but you should fill out IT-229 on the NY State return
