I installed the 990 software after I swore, I'd never do a 990 again. Evidently IRS issued the final regs allowing churches who do not file 990s to file a 990-T which includes the Form 3468 Investment Credit which flows to the Form 3800 General Business Credit. The 3568 is the detailed questions that qualify the investment in solar for this refundable tax credit. The 990-T has options to complete the 3468. Any clue what is happening?
Drake Tax, my other software says won't have the program updated until mid-March.
Would appreciate any insite you tax whiz folks can give me on this. I always remember why I swore off 990s too late. Such is the world of pro-bono work.
