Form 3K-1 MA - how to file?

Hi all

Anyone have experience filing a form 3k-1 in MA. The form is attached to the K1 and noted as "for informational purposes only must be electronically filed" The MA state tax website confirms that electronic filing is mandatory. Client in a MA non-resident.

I cannot find any form in the MA state return in Proseries. My only idea is to e-file a zero non-resident MA return and attach the Form 3K-1 to the zero return.

Any thoughts or ideas appreciated

Thanks Nolan

Assuming you entered Schedule K-1 in Federal and have completed the Non-Resident Allocation Worksheet in the Federal return, the information should carry-over to the MA nonresident return (in B, D, E and the Activity Worksheet, etc.).  There is no worksheet in the MA return call a 3K-1 - it is the Activity Worksheet, etc.

If your nonresident of Mass has no Mass income, why file a Mass return at all?

Can't you just ignore it?

The more I know, the more I don't know.
