I fine the E-file Confirmation report VERY useful.  This would be a nice addition.

If you already have the client name, why would the form number be important?  When I check a return named ACME Inc, I know what kind of return I'm dealing with just like if I check a return for Wile E Coyote.

My memory is like a steel trap - a rusted out steel trap. 

I was referring to having an individual name vs a business name would already allow you to split between business returns and individual returns.  Why would you need the extra step of needing the form number on it?  I'm just wondering what I am missing that would make having the form number something that I would really find useful.

Ahhhhhhhhhh, well we have been adding so many new businesses this year - it just helps to confirm if the business was a 1120-S, 1065, 1120......
