When using Prep for Taxes, for some reason distributions always get mapped as a negative number. I know that a credit balance for an equity account is a negative balance, BUT it should not be imported as a negative number. Every single time I import a client, I have to go into the return and remove the minus symbol from the import to get the return to balance. This is an obvious software error and should be an easy thing to fix, so I'm hoping this just gets fixed instead of having to go through a bunch of approval hoops. T
