eFile final business returns

I would like to be able to efile a business final return when it is due. Businesses close mid-year and the final filing is due within months and often falls within the same year where there is already a completed e-filing. Support today advised me to wait until next season when the 2022 comes out. I want to file the return when due, not when it is convenient for ProConnect. Why in the world would I postpone a project like this until the busy season? Why would I delay finishing a project that the client may not have funds for come next season? Other tax prep programs that I have used were completely accommodating.
