Create custom print packages - watermarked/unwatermarked fed/state combos

Currently there are client, preparer and government print combos. I know you can modify these, as I have done to include the forms I want for client version of the tax return (watermarked). But I have to still currently custom print each set of settings for every client.

For example, I do a watermarked client version and then do an unwatermarked Tax Summary with Vouchers. I also combine my 8879s with a copy of the Due Diligence checklist and have clients initial that as well. It would save so much time if I could have presets saved outside of the current 3 that I could customize.

That is a great idea.  I print out the estimates and payment vouchers without any watermarks.  It would be  great if it could be set up as a package.

There should be, needs to be, a standard Intuit Template, able to be copied to a Firm wide Template with a firms specific needs, and then a one time use template for unusual circumstances.

There also needs to be a MORE efficient way to pick and choose what prints in each of the government copy, taxpayer copy and firm copy.  This should NOT be 3 separate tabs, but 3 columns on ONE tab, so that you check off what prints in each copy. IE next years depreciation does Not go to the government copy; and some worksheets do not either. Currently I have to go line by line 3 separate times, on 3 separate tabs, reading each line 3 times, to select what should print.  If this was 3 columns (1 for each gov, taxpayer and firm) I could go down the list ONE time. Giant timesaver.  PS the sister product called ProSeries has had this for more than 10 years, so it cant be that difficult to do.

Yes. Proseries has it. I am able to select multiple print packages and they all print with one click. Its a really nice feature.
