@IRonMaNSorry I offended you ... but second question wasn't a duplicate. If you go ahead and try to use the program you'll see when you file the returns, and choose the option to direct debit the balance, the program defaults the date to pay on April 15th. Just asking the community - of people who may have actually used the program - to see if they've had any experience with this now that the IRS and many States have moved the filing date and the settlement date to May 17th.
And best of luck in that new Walmart gig - really hope it works out for you.
You didn't offend me. Returns that are already filed can only be changed by having someone call the IRS. The returns that are in the pipeline can use the May date, but they can't be e-filed until the IRS and then Intuit gets their software updated.
