Why is an amount that I enter in: ID of Excess Contributions (Schedule A, Part II, Line 5) not showing up?

Schedule A, Line 5 is blank even though I have entered a Name and 2019 amount in the [Override] boxes.

Is the amount below the threshold?

No, I was using the override to report the excess over 2%. But it was not coming through to the Sch A, Line 5.

After adding a fictitious Contributor for Schedule B and entering the contributions for the past years, I made it work.

If you know of another work around, then please pass it along.
