Golden State Stimulus is not taxable to Fed or CA.
Middle Class Refund MAY be taxable to Federal https://proconnect.intuit.com/support/en-us/help-article/tax-refund/common-questions-california-midd...
If it does not change the fed tax go ahead. If it does change, stay tuned for an update from IRS as to whether it is taxable.
