Taxpayer is a US citizen, lives in NY and works for United Nations in NY office. United Nations does not have a withholding system, does not withheld taxes and don't issue W2 form, they issue a stateemnt of earnings showing the total wages paid. My questions is: how to I entered these amount to show in line 1 of the 1040 and have the Self Employment Tax Calculated Correctly? SE Schedule should have the earnings listed in line 2. Thank you!

In the self employment tax section is there a place to make an adjustment to SE income?

The more I know, the more I don't know.
