Should the non-taxable unemployment compensation be excluded from income on line 3 of the Taxable Social Security Benefits worksheet?

The 2020 IRS instructions say to use the Schedule 1 line 9 in the calculation - but Proconnect appears to be using Schedule 1 line 9 PLUS the excludible unemployment compensation

Schedule 1 line 7 should be UI (a positive), Line 8 should be UCE (a negative). Look more closely at the IRS instructions. https://www.irs.gov/faqs/irs-procedures/forms-publications/new-exclusion-of-up-to-10200-of-unemploym...

    The program is correct.

You are looking at the Instructions that were made BEFORE the new law came out.  The IRS has not yet released a new version.
