THE REASON FOR MY QUESTION IS THAT THE BROKERAGE HOUSES COMBINE SECURITY TRANSACTIONS. I COULD ACHIEVE THE SAME RESULT IF I ENTERED IDIVIDUAL TRANSACTIONS INSTEAD OF TOTALS FOR EACH CATEGORY

If they are covered transactions enter the totals. No need to waste time entering individual transactions or attaching the detailed schedule.
The more I know the more I don’t know.
