Schedule SE with no K1 or Schedule C

I am using Proconnect and I entered the original schedule C for the amount of 6468 in 1099 NEC income, but it showed up in the Schedule SE as 12868.  Then I deleted the Schedule C and the Schedule SE still shows up for 6400?

How can I get a fresh look at the schedule SE that would show no income?

Enter directly on Schedule C.

Don't enter 1099-NEC

The more I know, the more I don't know.

I am not entering a 1099 form in the return, I am using Sched C to report the 1099 NEC income.

It seems to be a glitch as there is no source for the Schedule SE data

Have you looked through the 1040 and Schedule 1 to see if "$6400" is showing up as income somewhere?  That might be a clue for where to look.

The only place is shows up is Schedule SE

check to see if you have entered something in Taxes > Other Taxes > Self Employment Tax (Schedule SE)

Also check to see if you have a K-1 that might be generating Self Employment.

Does $6,400 show up anywhere else on your return?
