    I won't be paid for preparing a 1065 for a partnership (I am a partner). For preparer, should I say firm, non-paid preparer or self-prepared? I want to e-file.

Also, under primary contact, should I list myself, or the other partner?

Professionally are you a paid preparer? If so, mark paid preparer. (Some where in the recesses of my mind, if you are partner preparing the 1065 as part of your duties as a partner, then you are considered a paid preparer.)

2nd question - YES! (i.e. pick the one that can best respond to an IRS contact)

Any other thoughts?  No, George is charge of the forum thoughts generator today.  But his answer does sound pretty good so personally, I would run with it.
