I filled out information on Schedule A, but when I try printing I don't get a schedule A form. Can someone please help me figure out how to get schedule A to show ?

I need to turn it in for a class , and my professor wants that specific form

Hi there,

To force the Sch A to print, go to the Deductions > Itemized Deductions (Sch A) screen. Then click on the "Less Common Scenarios" section along the top of the screen. Enter a 1 in "1=force Schedule A to print (not for EF), 2=when applicable".

This entry is needed because by default, the program only prints Sch A when itemizing results in lower tax than taking the standard deduction - so only when the Sch A would be required to be filed with the return.
