How do I input in Proconnect that the dependent is not in the US? I have put in a foreign address for the parents, but the new dependent part of the first page of the 1040 has a check box , 5b, whether the dependent was in the US, and it is checked although the address on the return is foreign. I could not find an input or override to correct this.

I found the answer for anyone who was wondering- the parents were checked as being in the US, so if you uncheck that box , the "is the US" box on the dependent will also uncheck
