Automatic extensions

Is there any way to tweak ProConnect to turn on Extension for every client I have without having to go into each file?

How about check Extension for every new client?

Hi Christopher, at this time ProConnect does not have any automatic extension capability.  However, you can use the Batch Extension function to select up to 50 returns at once to file extensions.  That function is found under Batch Actions --> Batch Extension on the tax return screen.  If you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our support line ProConnect Support .

How do you get an estimate of someone's tax liability and payments made in order to prepare a meaningful extension if you do them in batches?

I guess that works for zero extensions.
