Initial 1041 return and has one beneficiary. The beneficiary has executor fees that need to be recorded and I did that on page 1 under fidicuary fees is that the correct location. Also, the estate is to pay the taxes not the beneficiary; do I need to do a K-1 and if so, would I record all income and expenses or just the executor fees? I've done 1041's before but they usually were for the final 1041s. I'm just not sure what needs to be recorded on the K-1. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
