QBO is pulling in incorrect information from Proconnect and attaching my personal tax information/name to a client's QBO subscription. When I edit the name in QBO to the correct client name it then changes the name on my personal tax return in Proconnect. When I edit the name in Proconnect to reflect the correct name of the return (my name) it changes it in the client's QBO. There is NO return filed for this QBO client in Proconnect so I have no idea why this is happening.
I just spent 2-1/2 hours with a very competent CSR who was told by the escalation team that the platforms are working as they should. This is not normal and is definitely a back-end issue that should be fixed.
I also take issue with the feedback button in Proconnect being removed. Why wouldn't you want to know what's going on with your product?
