Hi,
I'm entering in a depreciation report for a new 1120-S client. All of the assets are fully depreciated, but some of those assets we're depreciated as a Section 179 expense, as indicated on the prior years report. I'd like to match this prior report identically, however, when I input the prior depreciation for these particularly assets as a "prior year sec. 179 expense", it won't show up on the form. The prior depreciation only shows up if i input it under "prior depreciation / amortization". This would be fine, but it changes what ends up under the heading, "Depreciation Basis" (on the previous years report, the assets that were sec. 179 do not show up under this heading - so the total amounts end up being different). Any thoughts on why this is happening and how I might fix it?
