    Looking for where to enter California withholding from the sale of rental real estate?

    For federal you'll enter it on the Tax Payments Worksheet.   Then on CA, you'll open up the Form 593  and fill it in.  It will look like it's going to double up the withholding, but it doesn't.

    There is a search box at the top of the left column. Search 593. The 3rd choice shows "1=593-B, 2 = 593"  Select that item and you will be in the beginning of doing all the input from the appropriate form in CA Non-res/Real Estae WH
