How long do documents stay in Intuit Link?
I'm wondering if I can leave retention documents there (i.e. W-2's, e-authorizations, etc) or if I still need to keep them in my own secure off site storage.

No, don't do it.
Link is not your DMS and should never be used as such. Intuit controls everything there and could give you short notice before removing all the contents as they did a few years ago. You will then scramble to backup and index everything.
It is only a portal, nothing more. You should download what you have there as and when you prepare and finish the return.
