I have entered Schedule C for a client. I am getting a critical diagnostic asking for passive inputs for a 1065 K-1 Partnership. This is not correct. What do I do?

The diagnostic has nothing to do with Sch C.  You probably have made an input somewhere for a 1065 K-1.  Check your input there in the first instance.  If you still cannot resolve it, copy the exact diagnostic here and someone may be able to pinpoint what that may be related to.

I have not entered anything into the 1065 K-1 form which is why I am asking this question. The error is as follows:

"Currently the total significant participation hours for all passive activities total less than the 501 hours needed to automatically make the activities non-passive. Please review your input and either continue entering activities until the total hours for all activities combined is greater than 500 hours, or remove [it]"
