The extension needed to be filed on 3/15. Sub S returns were due before the IRS changed everything to a 7/15 due date.
The dashboard may be showing the federal extension status (rejected), even if there was another filing for the same client that was accepted - like the federal return, or a state filing. You can check the e-file status of all the filings for the client at once by going to the E-file Dashboard, filtering to "All" statuses at the top, and searching for the client's name.
