the tax return prints current year, current year AMT, State and State AMT and then "Next year " federal and state depreciation. I know there is a box to mark to suppress the printing/calculating, but I cannot find it...

I believe the software is WYSIWYG. If you want to control what is printed, you will need switch to Lacerte.
