How to stop ProConnect from autofilling MI-1040CR7?

MI-1040CR7 Home Heating Credit is being auto-populated with medical insurance paid and standard credit. I am getting a critical diagnostic stating "The Heat Provider Name Code and Heat Type are required for e-file."

This client does not qualify for the home heating credit (they are not paying rent and do not own a home). How can I prevent ProConnect from populating this form?

Hi there,

Go to the input for State & Local > Other Credits > MI MI-1040CR-7. Enter a -1 to indicate zero in "Form MI-1040CR-7 [Override]".

That will suppress the MI-1040CR-7 and clear any diagnostics related to it.
