I often print Sch A for my own file, esp if it's close to the standard deduction and may work in the Virginia state return. With Sch A on the screen, I print just page 1 (to avoid the three add'l pages that are useless). You can give a copy to your client since she asked for it. Old timers insist on documenting Sch A amounts, unaware that they hardly ever work.
What Greta said, but with ProConnect you have to find Schedule A.

Depends on your client base. More of my clients itemize than don't.

This here is no option to print a schedule a in the partials. That is part of my dilema.
"in the partials"?
When you filled in the entries into Schedule A, can you then not press the printer icon and just print page 1?
@Greta This is ProConnect Tax Online, not ProSeries. Totally different beasts.
@idawkrizman Go to Schedule A input > Click the Less Common Scenarios > 2nd item input 1=force Schedule A to print (not for EF) and that might make it show up.
If this doesn't work, contact support and if you get a solution, post it here.

There is no partial option Schedule A to select or choose to print. There has not been a good solution for this. I cannot select Schedule after it has been filed unless I unlock the return. Once that is done, I cannot relock the return and do not want to have to worry that something else may be changed with a fat finger error. I am surprised that I cannot select a form, to print especially if there is data on the form.
In lthe top bar, you click Update and scroll down to REFRESH UPDATES, initially you'd be asked to close down the program and you thru a long process of updating installed products, you'd be surprised that you'd able to print Schedule A after logging back on.
The problem this is not a permanent fix as I have to this process every session.
