You need to understand the backdrop of these reporting requirements. Reading the filing instructions would be a good place to start.
NYS and NYC are known to be aggressive with their statutory residence rules (rightfully so because of the high costs of running the city and state) and one of the factors is whether an individual maintains a permanent place of abode in the city/state and the number of days the individual spends in the city/state.
In other words, these questions are not relevant for NYC residents and would not need to be answered (as the filing instructions also explain).
The reason your entries for these do not shown on Line E is that you already chose 2 = NYC full year for NYC/Yonkers Resident.
