This is the diagnostic: For California e-file purposes, CA state wages on Form W-2 must add up to total California wages reported on the CA tax return. It is not recommended to use State Wages, if different for CA efile returns. Instead, allocate CA wages to the main form by using the primary wages input.

Your issue probably is the result of making Override entries in this section

Hi thank you so much for the reply. But no I did not make any overrides, that's why I am so puzzled as to why it won't work.
