Get additional info from client after completing Link organizer

A client completed their Link organizer and uploaded documents.  But after working in it I have more questions for them.  How do I do that thru Link or is there some other way besides just emailing them?

Yes, you can ask follow up questions and request additional documents within the same thread.  Or you can add a new item.  Intuit Link is designed to be used as your secure client portal for data collection so that you can avoid the use of emails, which are generally not secure.

Here's how you do it:

  • In ProConnect, open the Intuit Link drawer for your client;
  • Open Personal Questionnaire or Document Checklist;
  • On the relevant item, client on Comments to continue the discussion with your client; or
  • Click on the Edit button in the bottom right corner;
  • Click on Edit on the line for Questions or Document Checklist; and
  • Click on the + Add Item button to create a new request.
